Rest Stop WiFi PicThis last weekend I travelled by bus with students up to Seattle for a college visit and on the way back down I-5 I saw something that made me smile :) . We pulled into a rest area in the middle of no where (seriously there was nothing around but trees and clear cuts). My phone did not even get reception here! But this rest area had a WiFi hot spot! If I had had my laptop I would have gotten it out and logged on just for the fun of it. In a world where we can connect to the internet just about anywhere computer skills for all students young and old become essential!
